It's almost Time

September 19, 2007
The countdown has begun for us to leave Virginia and come home. We have 13 days left here at FPO. The time here has been a great learning experience for the whole family. We would love to share all our stories with you, but there is not enough room in this newsletter. Once we arrive back in South Carolina, this will be our schedule:

October 3, 2007 – arrive in Columbia, SC
October 3-4 – in Denmark
October 5-8 – in Walhalla
October 7th – Commissioning service at College Street (8:30am & 10:55am services; 6:30pm service followed by fellowship)
October 9-16 – in Denmark
October 14th – Commissioning service at Denmark FBC (11:00am service)
October 16th – Fly out of Columbia, SC- 7:00pm
October 18th – Arrive in Zambia, Africa-6:15am (6 hours ahead of SC)

Once we arrive in Zambia, we will have a week to settle into our place of residence before beginning our 40 Days and 40 Nights Orientation Safari. This begins October 24th and ends November 23rd. During this time we will not be able to communicate via email, phone, or other means.
Prayer Requests:
· IMB Commissioning on October 2nd – pray for safety of family traveling to see us, and for safety coming home on October 3rd.
· Austin, Coby & Kelsey saying good-bye to all their friends at FPO.
· Our people group in Zambia that God would continue preparing their hearts to hear the Gospel.

Cook Family, My prayers will be with your family during this time.
Jeremiah 29:10-12 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. I pray that your children will be protected by the prayers of friends and family that are here on home ground.
In Christ,
Diannia G

You guys are amazing. I miss you all like crazy, but I know you're responding to God's calling. I commit to you all to pray for each of you daily. Continue to let us know of your specific prayer requests.

We have to reserve a couple of hours while you're home to play Fast Game! Maybe we can get in a couple of hands while we're tailgating. Can't wait to see you all!

In His love,
Kim
